This technical specification concerns the supply of 44 manifolds to be integrated as part of the cooling circuit for collimators.
Deliveries are foreseen over 24 weeks from placement of the contract.
2.2 Deliverables included in the Supply
44 manifolds, as described in Tech Specs below
Detailed document of processes and methods to be used for manufacturing
Written program, detailing manufacturing and testing schedules
Metrology reports
Raw material certificates 3.1
Welding qualifications (WPQR & WPS)
Personnel qualifications (WPQ)
Radiography of the welding
Progress report every 6 weeks after placement of the contract
The supply shall be conform to drawings listed in tech specs
2.3 Activities at the Contractor’s Premises
The contractor shall perform the following activities at its premises:
Procurement of raw material concerned for the supply
Manufacturing of metallic parts (See Annex 1)
Welding of metallic parts shown in drawings LHCTCTP_0150, LHCTCTP_0154 LHCTCTP_0152, LHCTCTP_0160, LHCTCTP_0162, LHCTCTP_0156, LHCTCTP_0158, LHCTCLDA0092 and LHCTCLDA0096 (see Annex 1)
All the pieces shall be welded under Argon. Pickling, passivation before conditioning.
Metrology, pressure and welding tests (see § 4.3)
Packing, and shipping if requested by CERN (see § 4.5).
Manufacturing, welding and assembly of the supply, as well as metrology and pressure test activities shall not be subcontracted.
