| Report number DO-33408/RCS Title Supply of the Warm Skin Plates for the DARKSIDE cryostat Activity code 05010100M Reply date (yyyy-mm-dd) 2022-07-28 16:00 (Expressed in Europe/Zurich time zone) CERN intends to place a contract (the “Contract”) for the supply of the cryostat Warm Skin Plates (WSP) (see also Figure 3) as specified in the drawing CENDRKCR0057. The approximate net weight of the WSP is 73 metric tons (MT) (in whole or in part, the “Supply”). CERN will provide the raw material for the WSP, with an estimated weight of 84 metric tons (MT) (see §§ 2.3 and 9). The Supply shall include: Technical deliverables as specified in § 3: One full set of WSP. Activities as specified in § 4: On the Contractor’s site: Manufacturing (see § 4.1); Painting (see § 4.2); Welding (see § 4.3); Packing, and shipping if requested (see § 4.4); Tests (see § 4.5). Documentation as specified in § 5: Manufacturing and Inspection Plan (see § 5.1.1); Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) report (see § 5.1.2); Technical Documentation (see § 5.1.3); Production Plan (see § 5.2.1); Quality Plan (see § 5.2.2); Progress Reports (see § 5.2.3).
